that "winning" a million and keeping the million are two separate events. I also have "turned a little into a lot" in the market over the last year but I don't realistically expect to continue this "trend" into the future. Time and (lack of) knowledge have a way of catching up with one. I would be willing to bet that your friend's FUTURE bets in the market weren't nearly as successful (quite possibly in a southern direction). By the way, did this friend buy or write these options? There is a different mentality associated with both.
