Whether the information is important or correct is irrelevant. MathProf posted something on a restricted website and expressed his intention not to post it outside. Even if I would disagree with either his decision or his assessment of the post itself, I wouldn't go out of my way to post the text all over the web anyway.
You may be posting things which you care not one wit if they're reposted everywhere, as I may do as well, but that doesn't make us superior not does that oblige the others to behave as we do.
This re-posting is clearly the work of a little sociopath with a chip on his shoulder. When one is incapable of doing original work, or good work at all, one resorts to what passes for mischief. (It's really a masturbatory act.)
