How to respond? Playing for three years. Read every book I could get my hands on. Think about the game continuously. Been told before that 10s going to other players and dealers is "part of the game." Not very encouraging to lose three or four hands in a row when I've got big bets out because the count was good. Takes quite a while to recoup those loses (if ever) or shortens my play time because my session bankroll is so quickly eroded. Much prefer "flat betting" each hand at $5, $10 or $15 and getting more $ into play by aggressively doubling or splitting when my cards and the count are favorable to me and being more conservative when the cards or count are less favorable. My system seems to reduce the number of times I lose with $50-60 riding on a doubled or split hand. In return, I don't mind winning (or losing) an occasional $5 hand that I could have doubled or split, but didn't, because the count was not favorable. It's very discouraging when a player counting and playing solid basic strategy loses $ and other players, sometimes making plays only a pit boss would love, come away winners. To my thinking, any system that has me deciding on the level of my bet before I see my cards and the dealer's upcard has a serious flaw. The same goes for any system that looks at whether the shoe is 10-rich or 10-poor, but doesn't take into account what cards are actually playing on this deal. Lastly, with all due respect, if you know how the cheating was done at any casino in SXM, just say so! Asking me to pay you for that info is BS!
