Re: Robert's counting system for Tie

Posted by Felix Cheung on 4 June 1998, at 5:41 a.m.

Stated in the article 'Baccarat (part 5)' posted by Robert:

+1 : A, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9 -1 : 6, 8, T, J, Q, K

I do the following calcultions with a computer program.

From a shoe of 8 decks:

1) removing 16 cards from each of A, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9

cards left = 416 - 16 x 6 = 320 (6.2 decks)

run count = 16 x 6 = 96

true count = 96 / 6 = 16

Calculated Banker% = 45.81

Player% = 44.68

Tie% = 9.51

2) removing 24 cards from each of A, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9

cards left = 416 - 24 x 6 = 272 (5.2 decks)

run count = 24 x 6 = 144

true count = 144 / 5 = 28

Calculated Banker% = 45.13

Player% = 44.10

Tie% = 10.76

3) removing 16 cards from each of 6, 8, T, J, Q, K

cards left = 416 - 16 x 6 = 320 (6.2 decks)

run count = -16 x 6 = -96

true count = -96 / 6 = -16

Calculated Banker% = 45.44

Player% = 44.56

Tie% = 10.00
