The three best dealers I ever saw on the wheel were:

#1: Could throw on the sector 16 thru 9 at will (european wheel). All I had to do was observe his wheel/ball speed and especially release point: each time he hit the sector it was the same. Now, of course he could mix it up, but "his bad habit" was coming back more often by from a "random outcome"; in short he was "human"... (He was a friendly dealer)

#2: A nice little lady with the most consistent relaese I saw; when she is "on" expect lot of repeat... (she was a friendly dealer too)

#3: A scumbag, always varying everything each spins.... But: I got it pegged too: he had three type of release and two wheel speed... Wisdom: don't play him anyway, it is possible to win elsewhere.

What is my point? This: no matter how hard casino want to mix it up is not important for a skillful watcher. Too, there is always dealer who don't give a F***, they spin the wheel and throw the ball. Period.

Don't worry, casino are already aware of all that; it is the main explanantion of the new type of wheel with round less-deeper pocket. Also the ball size is now pretty big in many place; they are not dumb; they know their game for sure!

The type of situation you mention does happen like preferential shuffle do happen; just stay away. Any top wheel watcher will go for the best dealer in the place to play, this "best dealer" always represent 40-60% on a 10 table sample.

Just do yourself a favor: go in casino and look at them work, you will be surprised by the consistency of some... (they are just human!)

When you come back, give wheel dimension.

Robert
