Dealer Signature
Many roulette players have told me of their belief in dealer signature. I have asked and continue to ask how they know when they have found one. Not one has ever shown me a proof for even one dealer's signature or that he has a satisfactory method to search for such a thing. Not one has shown me a method for detecting biased wheels. Not one has ever shown me a way to distinguish spin data that came from a biased (signature) dealer as opposed to that which came from a mechanically biased wheel.
I am very doubtful that dealers can spin better than random, but even if they can there are things to consider. If I was a dealer able to spin a signature, I would keep it all for myself. I would employ my own punters to bet for me on the numbers that I signal to them. My skill would be so valuable that I would not risk anyone discovering it. My biggest enemies would be the regular roulette players who tried to follow my signature. I would get rid of them as fast as I could by spinning to wipe them out. If they were to win on my spins I cannot win for myself at the same time. It would be too much for the casino to handle. Also I would be risking them exposing my skill and getting me sacked. What good would my skill be then? Once I have got rid of these dangerous punters I can get back to winning for myself.
If dealer signature was possible, professional punters would employ dealers and train them to do it. The trained dealers would then get themselves employed by the casinos so that their 'pro' bosses could win millions on their signatures. Casinos win at roulette because it is random. A dealer with a signature 'bias' would be a disaster to them, worse than any other type of bias. The casino would either sack any signature dealer or insist he spin to win for them, never for the punters.
