Agree with you, only I would say TRYING to bet in the last second.

The bet for this play is typically an octant (5 numbers) consisting of the number and two neighbors either side. I just want to be there to watch Robert spot his number, say 24, and get some chips down on 13 36 24 3 15 within that instant before the dealer says, 'No more bets' and the casino and other punters not notice anything unusual.
