We're talking energy fields, not waves.
Posted by Dr. Reed Holliday on 11 October 1999, at 2:25 a.m., in response to We're already saddled with one misnomer, posted by Cyrus on 10 October 1999, at 5:38 p.m.
It's early in the morning/late in the evening, and I haven't gotten much sleep. I'm writing off the top of my head at the moment.
I refer you to my original post. Ten (10) hours of bj play a day, coupled with intense concentration on the dealer's hole card yields an astonishingly high rate of success in predicting the dealer's hole card. Cyrus, I did not mention "waves" in any of my posts. Since you have a love affair with accuracy, might I suggest you learn the proper scientific terms. In this instance, the correct term is "energy field."
To begin, I think it important to discuss the limitations of the system. I want to get that out of the way so there are no disillusions.
The limitations of the Holliday/Kalavasaini Method of blackjack play:
1. Fatigue - This is obviously the biggest problem. Can anyone play 10 hours per day and still be effective? Yes, but I admit it's difficult. I'm 86 years old, and I can say that age is another limiting factor. Of course, counting for 10 hours a day is almost impossible, but our revolutionary system makes counting unnecessary.
2. Energy field disruption and player departure - The energy fields of the cards are easily confused with the energy fields of the other players. It takes several hours for the psychic abilities of the brain to determine the difference between the two. For some reason, (further exploration as to why is needed) the energy fields become difficult to discern as players leave the table. Therefore, we recommend selecting a table in the high roller area of the casino, where there is less player turnover. If that is not an option, then play during off-peak hours.
3. Negative energy vibrations emanating from the pit - It doesn't take long for the pit to start sweating once your psychic abilities are at their peak. The floormen are worried when their hold % drops; their jobs depend on it. Their negative energy flows have an adverse effect on all players at the table. Remember, every human has an energy field, and we can all pick up on it; some of us are more attuned to the fields than others.
4. Incontinence - We stumbled on this result accidentally, but I'm glad we did. Anyone who has this unfortunate problem should not play the system. First of all, people suffering from incontinence were: making too many trips to the bathroom and disrupting the energy fields of the cards, making it impossible for the brain to determine the intensity of the hole card; additionally, incontinence sufferers focus more on their affliction than they do at the game being played.
There could be other limiting factors as well: excessive asparagus consumption, smoke, pancake batter, and, quite possibly, donkey hair. Interestingly, some of these items are being introduced by a new generation of practitioners in the voodoo field. Conincidence? I think not. Believe me, I'm sticking to squash and eggs from now on! However, it will take further research into this matter before I can definitively say that these things have a deleterious effect on our system.
I would like to note that some of these things should seem obvious, yet no one asked any intelligent questions about them.
I wish I could continue, but it was a long day at the office. I must get some sleep. In my next report: The finer points of play.
