I meant to say that the post made a good job of the relational definition of ignorance and apathy. That in itself was knowledge stated in simple and clear terms.
My original point was that a lot of people tend to miss knowledge (learning) because of apathy. The reference to "I don't know and I don't care" as an answer MEANT that through APATHY one shuts the door to LEARNING. That is the entrance level to learning and knowledge. If the door is shut by "I don't care"s, then it is shut to learning as well- both for good and bad things. Need I go to the next level?
A good moderator should be an open minded person even if he may think he knows "all that there is to his knowledge of specialty". Education and learning is a lifelong process.
