If you are new, or in case you are addicted too gambling like Sotsog, gehrig, Cyrus and co, please listen carefully.
Until you fill in the inadequacies withing you, you will always have your gambling addiction. In order to release it, it is necessary to enter your inadequacies, to recognize that they are real, and to bring them into the light of consciousness to heal. If you happen not to be addicted, please accept my apologies. In Nevada, the statistics show that 7% of the population are addicted gamblers, and several of them lost at this station...
It is necessary to look deeply into the parts of yourself that have such power to you, to look clearly at how deep they they are within you, and to see them as honestly as you can.
It may be that your gambling addiction has provided you one of the few genuine pleasures of your life. That's the case with Sotsog, gehrig, Cyrus, Zombie, and co. What is more important to you, your wholeness, selfrespect, freedom, or the pleasures that you get from satisfying your addiction that may lead you to emotional and financial ruin? There is absolutely no redeeming social value in that "pleasure". When you understand that your inadequacy- the question becomes how you will respond to your inadequacy- by reaching for another session to recover previously lost money, or by reaching inward for those things that fill the whole?
Challenging your addiction- which is really challenging the part of yourself where the addiction oringinates- is not a declaration of war. It is a clear statement of your intention. No matter how you do it, challenging a part of yourself that you want to change is at the heart of spiritual growth. Your recovery from addiction can be accomplished through surrender to the higher mind in you. You were intended to be in charge and not enslaved by an addictive habit that will lead you to selfdestruction.
Your real friend.
W.T.
PS: Cyrus please don't act like a SM! Engage yourself in dialogue. It's enough... the hurt and financial loss you have taken in the past several years... acting or pretending will not save you from your addiction. Help is available.
