Don't overtax your brain

This is much more simple than you try to make it out to be!

The issues was not "dyslexia" and it was not my demand that Cant's or aynone else's posts be "dumbed down". (Hah.)

The issue was, and remains for me, that the unintentional in a person's output (posts, paintings, sayings, etc) which is mistaken by the truly "dumbed down" or by the people "with a mission" in their lives, such as you, for something that it is not. Read the previous sentence again, since this is the whole point, then stop and reflect - before "reflexively" releasing yet more chaff.

People "with a mission" : you who are so hell-bent on finding conspiratorial motives behind the actions of just about anyone who dares tread the path (and not outside it) and in badmouthing "experts" of any persuasion. You are so intent on finding gold outside the mine that any explanation about a nugget being only fool's gold simply doesn't register.

Who's the close-minded one then ?

The fact that the obscurantism and the wonderfully convoluted prose in Cant's texts, for example, could be partly due to some very pedestrian reason (such as dyslexia, ho hum), while simply being a fact of life for me, grates you and challenges your worldview - to wit : that those in authority (eg Schlesinger) are all buffoons and those in opposition to said authority (eg Cant) are all geniuses.

Who's the close-minded one ?
