you critcised one or more posts by cant because you stated that you were unable to understand them. do you now change the story ?

and, you stated that you had been asked by some board host to explain that/those cant post(s). do you now change that tune ?

my response had little to do with the content of cant's post. rather i pointed out two things:

that the ability to understand a post's contents is dependent on the intelligence of the reader. and that anyone who criticised a post because they couldn't understand it exhibited his/her own lack of intellect.

further, that the poster has little responsibility to dumb down a post's contents so as to reach the lowest level of all intellects who might read such a post. the exception would be the implied warranty included in the purchase of some book or service, after a sale. messages on free boards as this should not bear that warranty.

then you proceeded to state that you had determined the "intent" of poster cant. the implication was that poster cant had deliberately constructed the post so as to be difficult for (you ?) readers to understand. that's an interesting leap of logic. that would suggest that any post which was too complex for you to derive value from, must have some ulterior motive behind it. that sounds like the posts from the conspiracy addicts on the "sovereign citizen's" message boards.

were you honest and not afflicted with some inflated self image, you would admit that there are concepts beyond your comprehension. further, that those who may write posts, articles, or books containing concepts beyond your present capacity, do not write those so as to intentionally confuse *you*.
